This macro wildlife photography course will open up a new world for photographers. Single stems of grass become towering structures, and seemingly tiny creatures are seen in an entirely new light. Macro photography never fails to produce something new and exciting whether deep in the Amazon rainforest or in your garden; interesting subjects are never far away! Set on a wild private estate, the day will be divided between indoor classroom learning, indoor studio work and outdoor practical sessions (searching for bug life around the area). We will cover how to capture the best macro photography images, how to overcome the difficulties surrounding macro photography, and will also cover more advanced techniques such as image stacking. Basic working knowledge of photography is required and I recommend that beginners first take the Introduction to wildlife photography course first.

It was a brilliant inspirational day. Jonathan our tutor is not only very experienced in his field but able to impart his knowledge at a level that can be understood by the amateur photographer. It was also so special to have the opportunity to macro photograph insects.
